Star Magnolia

This is my neighbor's Star Magnolia. (Magnolia stellata).  I wanted to take a picture of it two days ago when the blooms were perfectly amazing and amazingly perfect, but I didn't get it done.  Since then the sun (lack of) and wind and rain have been uncooperative - as well as a bit rough on the blooms.  But it is still beautiful.  Look at the gorgeous blue sky and white clouds we have today!

It is officially gardening season here!  We'd love to have days like today all weekend...please...
